These come from the second deck, Honest talk. The game does not mix it with the light questions: it is switched on for the couple, and both of you see which deck the questions come from. Ask them when there is time to finish the conversation.

How Secret answers works

One question for the two of you. Each answers on their own phone, and the answers open for both at once when both have answered. Until the second person answers, the first answer stays hidden.

Questions don’t go round in circles: each time the game takes one the couple hasn’t had yet. The regular deck has more than a hundred. When you have had them all, the game says so, and new ones arrive with app updates.

Three more games run on questions. “Questions for each other” gives twenty per round. “Which of us?” is ten questions about habits and tastes on one phone, with buttons labelled with your names. And the test “How well do we match” is taken in turns through a link, right on the site.

How to play in Parella

1. Both of you install Parella and join as a couple with a code or a link.
2. Find Secret answers on the Ours tab — search by name works there too.
3. Take a question and answer it. Your partner answers on their phone, and the answers open for both.
4. To hear about a new question, turn on Games in Settings → Notifications.
