How the wishlist works in Parella
Each of you has your own wishlist, and your partner sees it. You can attach a photo to a wish, and your partner can open it full screen.
The main thing is the reservation: your partner taps Reserve, and the wish shows as taken on their side. Nothing changes for the owner of the wish: the reservation mark on your own wish is hidden. Even the in-app assistant doesn’t see or mention reservations, because both of you read your chats with it.
A month before a birthday
Clay. Adds a film camera to the wishlist and attaches a photo.
Sage. Taps Reserve. Clay’s list looks exactly as before.
Clay. Asks the assistant whether anyone has reserved the gift. The assistant can’t see reservations.

Sizes next to the wishes
Your profile has My sizes: clothes, shoes, a ring. Your partner sees them, and the in-app assistant answers “what’s Sam’s shoe size?” from that screen. So you can pick a gift that fits without leading questions.
When your partner adds a wish
You can get a notification for every new wish your partner adds: Settings → Notifications → New wishes. It is off by default so the app stays quiet.
Not only gifts
Next to the wishlists on the Ours tab are the couple’s shared goals with a cover photo, and lists. You can put the gift occasion in the shared calendar, and work out your wedding anniversary on “Which anniversary is yours”.
How to start
- Both of you install Parella and join as a couple with a code or a link.
- Ours tab → Wishlists → add a wish, with a photo if you like.
- To hear about your partner’s new wishes, turn on New wishes in Settings → Notifications.

Does the owner of a wish see that it has been reserved?
No. The reservation mark on your own wish is hidden, and the in-app assistant doesn’t mention it.
Is this a separate wishlist app?
No, wishlists are part of Parella, together with the couple’s shared calendar, chat, goals and album.
How much does it cost?
Wishlists are free and ad-free.
